I’m very excited to be posting from my new birthday present from Brian and Makenzie, a MacBook Pro!! 🙂
This time last year I was 8 months pregnant and it was 104 degrees outside. Ugh. This year, Brian, Makenzie, and I took full advantage of the nice 80 degree weather and spent most of the day outdoors. After her morning nap, Brian filled up her new pool with water and she went swimming. She wasn’t too sure of it at first but within 10 minutes was happily splashing and playing with her toys. She played in her pool for over 40 minutes! After splish splashing in the pool. I put her in the baby jogger and her and I went for a 4 mile run. She enjoyed it, napping for a while, playing with her feet and just looking around. We ended the day with turkey burgers on the grill, corn on the cob, and baked beans. By the time bath time rolled around she was exhausted!! She woke up at 10:30 pm (which is very unlike her) to the sound of fireworks and it took a little bit of time to get her back down. All in all, we had a great day!
The following day, we decided to take a trip directly East to Arlington, to watch our horse, Flower Spell race and also meet our friends, Tom, Heather, and their newest addition Evan (Makenzie’s boyfriend). Flower Spell did great as expected and took 1st place in Race 5.
