I can’t believe our little peanut is already 6 months old (actually 6.5 now that I am writing this), time is speeding by. I am truly amazed at how quickly she learns a new skill and practices every day. She is going to be so smart, just like her daddy. My heart over flows with love for her and I could just watch her for hours. I love her smiles, the sound of her tiny little voice when she tries to talk, the face she makes when she is concentrating really hard, and how she sleeps on her tummy with her little hands up by her face. I love her reaction when I sign the word “eat” to her, and how she quickly loses patience with me if I am taking too long when she is ready to eat. When her little hand gently grabs on to my face/chin when she is nursing. How she stretches and yawns when we wake her up each morning, her beautiful eyes that change from green to blue, just like her daddy’s, and how when I look at her I see a little bit of both of us in her.

Likes: Oatmeal, pears, sweet potatoes, squash, peas, bath time, Sophie the Giraffe, smiling, talking, tummy sleeping, jumping, standing, and playing in her jumper.

Milestones: Sitting unsupported, rolling from back to belly and belly to back, starting to scoot on all fours. Eating solids and taking small drinks of water out of a sippy cup (needs a lot of practice on this one).

Dislikes: Green beans.

I prefer to stand!
